Since 2021 I have tried each year the Inktober daily drawing Challenge.
This year I failed to complete the last week (illnesses and unexpected events) but wanted to share with you the 23 drawings I did complete.
Same as last year, I stayed focused on Work Culture while following the daily prompt of Inktober.
I like the most my drawing for day 4, 9, 12 and 20! What are yours?
PS: If you expected the visual summary for “Creativity Inc”Book, don’t worry we are going back to it in the following post.

One of them is "The ping"...
DAY 13 -🌅 Horizon
A Doodle study from 2023 estimated that 24bn hours are being wasted in meetings in a year.
Meetings are useful, but to avoid reaching the event horizon we can:
- Make the objective and agenda of the meetings clear
- Make it safe to decline for less needed participants
- Reduce the time to only what's necessary, (e g. don't need to stick to 30 and 60 minutes when 15 or 45 could work)
Some companies are also experimenting with more creative ideas to reduce meetings:
- Mandatoring reading before each call
- Meeting free days
- Displaying an estimated cost of the meeting
etc.
DAY 14 -🚶Roam
Lies, deception,
Ghost jobs are a thing, some companies (as much as 40% according to some articles) use fake job postings to give an impression of growth both internally and externally. Plus you get to collect CVs for later use.
...and then there are scams, the goal is to steal your information using fake application forms, most of them are pretty obvious (way too good to be true, badly written etc.) but with AI tools they are probably now getting more subtle.
Good luck if you are currently looking!
DAY 15 -📙Guidebook
... and try again.
DAY 16 -🧑🎤 Grungy
Using Band-aid solutions on complex problems.
How do you recognize when to go for the quick workaround, versus when rather dive deep?
DAY 17 -📰 Journal
When we asked for better documentation in your Jira stories, we didn't mean this!"
...Maybe Agile is right "Working software over comprehensive documentation"
DAY 18 -🚙 Drive
In the book "Drive", the author Daniel Pink shares the result of four decades of scientific research about Motivation.
The result can be summarized in three words:
Autonomy, Mastery and Purpose.
Have you got all of them in your work?
DAY 19 -⛰️ Ridge
We have all been there, haven't we?
The growth mindset versus the fixed mindset battle!
DAY 20 -🗺️Uncharted
The Uncharted Future,
Some jobs seem to exist in a kind of superposition state where you could imagine them being transformed by AI or completely disappearing... Which it will be is undecided, but the next AI wave might open the box...
DAY 21 -🦏 Rhinoceros
"Ideas are easy. Execution is everything." – John Doerr
DAY 22 -🏕️Camp
Creating siloes is so easy!
DAY 23 -🏚️Rust

If you liked some of them, feel free to share them!
What were your favorites?
